I’m Jiale Qiu, a graphic designer and freelance illustrator specializing in art publicity and character design. For me, graphic design is the best way to express imagination and reflect one’s inner world. Unlike words, drawings provide a more direct and engaging medium for self-expression.

My expertise lies in digital illustration, vector graphic design, and UI design. I am proficient in tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, and Figma. I studied Graphic Design at Fanshawe College and also take on freelance commissions online. For example, I once created an original character design for a client and produced a yearly birthday greeting illustration using Photoshop. Sharing these works on my media platforms significantly expanded my client portfolio.

My ultimate goal is to contribute to large-scale promotional art projects or create character designs for games and animations. I value practicality in my designs and lean toward distinctive style choices. Instead of seeking balance, I embrace either extreme intricacy or minimalism, depending on the context and purpose of the work.
